Welcome to M and J Art!
Painting and pencils perfected.....
Would you like to learn the techniques used to create paintings and drawings like these? We are a mother and daughter team who have decided to set up this School to help others learn how to master coloured pencils and watercolours to create art with ‘realism’. Realism is where you try and capture all the details you can see in your subject in a clean and fairly precise way. Some people even try to create paintings and drawings that have ‘photo-realism’ qualities!
Hi, we are M and J Art! We both love to draw and paint and want to share our tips and techniques to create realistic pictures. We will cover the basics of how to draw shape, create form, the importance of highlights, shadows, tones and hues as well as understanding perspective.
We will show you how to master graphite, coloured pencils and watercolours. Our aim is to ensure you learn as well as have fun creating art with realism. If you become a member of our School, you will be able to learn at your own pace, having access to the tutorials 24/7. Our aim is to build and nurture a creative, supportive, artistic community.
You will be able to dip into whichever medium you are interested in and have a go at completing the tutorials. You can even mix the mediums to create your own representation of the tutorial. It is entirely up to you.
Use our tutorials to help you create the art that you’ve always wanted to and most of all, RELAX AND HAVE FUN!
Join us on this artistic journey, let's have some fun and get creative....!
